Renuka City Hotel

This hotel is located near the Kollopitiya Junction about 200m towards Bambalapitiya. If you are coming from Fort (or directly coming from the air port) direction, you can make the turn from R.A. De Mel Mawatha to St. Anthony's mawatha (where the Lucky Plaza) then come back towards the Kollopitiya junction direction because the road is now one way. It is not difficult to find if you are using a GPS system.

If you are traveling by bus or train it is just walking distance from the Kollupitiya junction.

Facilities and foods in this hotel are excellent according to user reviews in the major travel sites. They have their own restaurant "Palmyrah" adjoining the hotel, but if you prefer "Burger King" and Amaravathi restaurants are also in just front of it.

Generally staff in all Sri Lankan hotels are friendly - so as the staff in Renuka City Hotel is also friendly and very helpful. Do not forget to treat them as well!

Because the hotel is situated at the sea side, you can get sea view rooms as well. But there is no beach in the walking distance - but you can go near the sea but be careful from the train. The closest beach you can go from here is the Galle Face Green. If you love to walk, it is about 2km from here, but taking a bus or a Tuk Tuk will save your time - but walking is good if you want to enjoy the city culture.

Star Dust and Bellagio Casinos are also located in the walking distance from this hotel - as well as there are number of night clubs situated just in the walking distance.
